Snowmobile in Iceland


Snowmobiles are a thrilling way to travel across the vast snowy plains of Iceland, when weather conditions permit.


Snowmobile have powerful engines and a strong rubber and kevlar composite track which propels them along. Steering is via the skis at the front.


Snowmobiling is not difficult and can be enjoyed by beginners, although care must be taken and we always require that guests follow an experienced guide. Snowmobiles will accommodate one or two passengers who can take turns to drive or simply enjoy the ride.

We offer the possibility for an hour or two snowmobile diversion as part of day tours or longer excursions. Availability depends upon weather and time of year. Please send us an enquiry.
