A choice of simple huts are available with sleeping bag accommodation. Sleeping bags and other bedding can be provided if required.
Eiríksjökull and Langjökull are two glaciers playing an important role in the stunning scenery. The area is accessible only by very rough trails so there are usually not many people around - we will also be able to walk or hike to interesting fishing spots.
This area has been important for the locals through the centuries. They came here to fish both winter and summer and fish are found almost everywhere. Brown Trout average 2-3 pounds but up to 10 pounds, and Arctic Char, which are somewhat smaller.





Arrival in Keflavík international airport on Monday approx. 13.00. local time where you will be picked up by your guide. Transportation by 4x4 truck right away up to Arnarvatnsheidi. You will arrive there about 17.00 and can start to fish right away.

•We will not have exact time for meals; this is something we will decide together. All meals will be made in cooperation, by all members of the group assisted by your guide.
•Friday afternoon we depart from the highland, setting the course to a hotel in Reykjavík. We arrive in late afternoon
•Saturday will be at your own leisure in Reykjavík, Sunday transfer to Keflavík airport.





Arnarvatnsheidi (Eagle Lake Moor) very well grown heath land, with many lakes both small and big.
There are rivers and small creeks, rolling hills, lava fields and in general stunning landscape.
The area is in the summer the home of incredibly many different species of birds which come there to nest, for example the Great northern diver, different types of ducks and Ptarmigans.
Friday afternoon we depart from the highland, setting the course to a guest house in Reykjavík, arriving late afternoon.
Saturday will be at your own leisure in Reykjavík; Sunday transfer to Keflavík airport.
